God is Good

I’m bummed.  I tried to install a simple closet rod and kept making blunder after blunder. What should have taken at most 30 minutes , took hours.  Then I discovered that my daughter and her husband, granddaughter and grandchild (in utero) are moving to Utah in the next few months.  It was both a frustrating and a sad day.  I have struggled all day to “rejoice always” as God commands.

Emotionally, like many men, I am stoic on the outside when facing sorrow and pain.  Inside, my soul is boiling.  What do those who follow God cling to in such moments?

God is good.  I’ll rejoice later.
